Started in early 2004 by Mark Willis, MLW Design has worked on many projects for international clients over the last few years.
MLW Design started as an effort to professionalise a hobby of Mark's that full-filled his creative desire! It now focuses on the online user experience of both small and large sites; safe, accessible, and most importantly, exciting browsing for large target audiences!
The first client of MLW Design was a server hosting company in the United States called E-GameServers. It was a small-ish job for a marketing campaign and interactive features, but nethertheless got things going!
The second job MLW Design worked on was a content management system for a project called Pro-Warrior, owned by a Canadian company. MLW Design worked on the project for several months; although somewhat simple it was the first step in the right direction! Pro-Warrior paved the way forward to creating dynamic user based electronic social environments with both moderation and administration controls.
It wasn't long before MLW Design was brought aboard a new and much larger project aimed at social networking - RateAFace. RateAFace ran originally for 4 years (from 2004 to 2008) and re-branded and re-launched in 2009. The 4 years of constant development, updates and addressing problems that you get when building and running a website for tens of thousands of users gained Mark Willis priceless experience!
During and since the last 4 years, MLW Design has developed a whole range of various types of sites with varied target audiences. For some of the latest work, head over to the portfolio!
